NEW SCHOOL, NEW RULES takes the reader on a fun and creative journey through many ups and downs, challenges, and achievements. This is a fun and exciting book that explores transitions and new beginnings all while having to learn how to maintain previous friendships.
Corina is a 5th grader who is moving to another school in the middle of the school year. She is disappointed that she will be moving and leaving her best friend. Corina expresses her feelings and emotions throughout this book as she learns to develop and foster social emotional wellness.
CD Murray has the love of literacy stitched in her soul. She was born and raised in Connecticut, and moved to her family’s native, North Carolina, in 2006 to re-establish her roots. CD Murray has four children ranging from adulthood to early school age, which keeps her very active. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Springfield College in Human Services. CD Murray has been a long time writer since she first learned to read and write. She has over twenty years of experience working with children in the mental health field and has also worked as an educator. As a previous educator, CD Murray was able to gain experiences that keep her imagination going.
