Cooking Event: Debbie Moose
Whether it's Grandma's special holiday cake, that uncle's tasty barbecue sauce or that aunt's deviled eggs which make the reunion spread complete, every family has cherished recipes. But if those recipes aren't written down, they can be lost, along with the memories that go with them. This workshop will help you get started on a family cookbook, including getting the project going, organizational tips and writing clear recipes that generations to come will be able to follow. If you're interested in genealogy, food can be a good way to get family members talking about family history, too. If you've started a family cookbook or have an idea, bring them along! Informational handouts will be available to take home.
