A Celebration of Irish American Culture For The Whole Family!
Page 158 Books in Wake Forest, NC, features an evening of song, storytelling, fiddling and more during Irish Fest in the Forest from local musicians.
4 to 4:40 Ken Cleary, Americana singer-songwriter (children’s songs too!) & storyteller (guitar)
4:45 to 5:25 Kim Lane, poet and singer-songwriter (guitar, dulcimer, and Sean nos)
5:30 to 6:10 Tommy Kagan, Irish and Scottish fiddler
6:15 to 7 Alice Osborn, poet and Americana singer-songwriter (guitar and Celtic fiddle)
The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH), in coordination with multiple sponsors, are hosting this event. Besides Page 158 Books, the festival will run from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on South Taylor Street between Wait and Elm Avenues, behind Town Hall and in front of the police station.
